At the age of 6, Roos went on a family holiday to Nepal. Together with her parents and her little sister (Sam), she went for some trekking in the Himalayas. They hiked in the Mustang region. When they entered the village of Kagbeni, the porters (sherpa's) went into a lodge with Roos and Sam but their parents were not aware of this. They had to search for half an hour before they were reunited and could live happily ever after.☺

Due to her young age and the high altitude, it wasn't always easy to do the long treks.
